Following the series of National challenges with existential threat to the Nation in recent times, a group of well-meaning and concerned Nigerians from all works of life, met to draw the attention of the Federal Government to what they termed as unsatisfactory responses to the multifaceted challenges of governance in Nigeria, and publicly expressed the need for concerted efforts, in collaboration with the civil society organizations, to proffer lasting solutions to these challenges.

Savannah Centre for Diplomacy, Democracy and Development (SCDDD) accepted the nomination to coordinate the coalition of seven (7) reputable CSOs (one from each of the six geo-political zones and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) to drive this Imperative National Dialogue on the challenges of governance in the country.

The Imperative of CSOs-Government Partnership.

The project phases include consultative/buy in engagement of critical stakeholders in the FCT, in depth desk-review of previous National conference reports and interactive Dialogue Meetings with FCT delegates on the topics of focus as aforementioned.
